CALLING ALL Retreat owners, Yoga Teachers, Breathworkers, Therapists Healers and yoga lovers leading up to Valentine's Day to help raise awareness and money for MahaDevi Centre (www.mahadevicentre.com).
We are a new Community Interest Company (based in Highbury and Islington) offering therapeutic Yoga classes to children with special needs such as Autism, Down's syndrome, Epilepsy, Prader-Willi syndrome, Hemiplegia, ASD, ADD, ADHD, Eye Impediments, ME, Sciatica, Cerebral palsy speech impediments, behavioural issues. Denisa Nenova is our Founder and there are 9 dedicated Sonia Sumar Practitioners (creator of Yoga for The Special Child) dedicated to offering yoga therapy for children and families.
We have just launched a Facebook campaign for Valentine's called #allheartsloveyoga and we are reaching out to as many people we know to donate a small % of their takings or wages on Valentine's weekend (or the week running up to should you not be teaching on the weekend :) to help fund yoga therapy classes to families and children who are not in a position to afford it.
Just £20.00 would pay for one hours therapy.
Would you be up for joining the campaign?
We are trying to reach 100 people and 5 London studios within the next 2 weeks until Valentine's Weekend then we won't bother you again!
Once we have 100 signed up, We are going to give a shout out to press too so any studios you are affiliated with or your own company will get a mention in press material should you like. Teachers from Stretch and East of Eden and Yoga on the Lane are already signed up.
Let me know if would like to help out and I will add you to the list and send you the details for donations.
You can donate directly before Valentine's day via the link below or I can send you details of where to send cheques and bank transfer details if easier. Many thanks in advance.
It takes 2 minutes.
Please forward on to anyone who comes to mind who you think may like to help.
With huge thanks to Aimee Hartley and the team at Breathing Space!
